Ms. Rene is the Chairperson of the National Council for Children ("NCC") in the Seychelles. The NCC is a non-governmental organisation with a mandate to promote and safeguard the welfare and rights of children. It provides care and assistance for children in need of care and assistance and promotes public education programmes on child-related issues. The NCC is funded by government grants, fundraising activities and donations from benefactors.
